Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 October 2026

These terms set out the ground rules for using MyFarmHand — the website, the waitlist and the app once it launches. We have kept them as plain as possible.

Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your use of the MyFarmHand website, waitlist and app. By using the site, joining the waitlist or creating an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

About the service

MyFarmHand is an offline-first farm record keeping app with AI assistants and a daily briefing. It is in development and launching soon. Features may change between now and launch, and during early access we may add, change or remove functionality.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist reserves your place in line, but it does not guarantee access by a particular date, a particular price, or any particular feature. We will email you when your spot is ready. You can leave the waitlist at any time.

Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old. Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account.

Acceptable use

You agree to use MyFarmHand lawfully and respectfully. Don't:

  • Break the law, infringe other people's rights, or use the service for anything unlawful.
  • Try to access, scrape, reverse engineer or disrupt the service or other users' data.
  • Misuse the AI assistants — for example, uploading content you have no right to share or attempting to make the assistants produce harmful content.

Your records and content

The farm records, notes and media you create in MyFarmHand are yours. You keep full ownership. You give us a limited licence to store, back up, sync and process that content as needed to provide the service — including sending your assistant requests to our AI providers so Matt and Sarah can answer. We do not use your records to market to anyone.

You are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything critical to your business. We provide export tools so you can take your data with you.

AI assistance

The Matt and Sarah assistants and the Morning Muster briefing are tools to help you, not professional advisers. AI responses can be inaccurate or incomplete. Always use your own judgement — and where it matters, qualified agronomic, veterinary, financial or legal advice — before making decisions that affect your animals, crops or business.

Availability

We aim for the app to be dependable in every paddock, but we provide the service 'as is'. It may be unavailable for maintenance, outages or events beyond our control. Offline features keep working on your device even when our servers are unreachable.

Intellectual property

The MyFarmHand name, logo, app and website are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission, except as needed to use the service.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyFarmHand is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including lost production or profits. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.

Ending these terms

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously breach these terms, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your records.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and the courts of Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
